Spring Butterflies of Marvellous Morocco
The Middle Atlas mountains of Morocco are surprisingly green and lush, with peaks above 2,000m receiving annual winter snowfall to provide nourishing water during the spring. This verdance means they are home to an unusual and enticing range of butterflies, our targets during this unique spring tour. These include sought-after regional endemics, in addition to other desirable species that, in Europe, we consider at best scarce, and often downright rare.
