Juan Pablo is a biologist with an MSc in Conservation Biology. Currently, he is finishing his PhD project, studying plant-pollinator responses to eutrophication. Over the years, he has worked in projects involving Iberian butterflies for several institutions, their focus ranging from citizen science, to conservation, and climate change. As a result, he has published various studies in scientific journals, but has also prepared reports for regional administrations, and been involved in science communication and dissemination. He enjoys photography and hiking, which are a good complement when he is doing fieldwork!
