Off the southern end of Italy, Sicily offers an enticing and rewarding destination for the orchid-hunter, with a variety of habitats packed into a relatively compact area, and boasting a rich haul of species possible in the space of a week's stay in this culturally rich and delightful island.

The beautiful Peloponnese is almost an island off the south of Greece and is renowned as a prime botanising locality, with many sought-after species and insular endemics. This tour is a very special one, visiting at the peak time to see a wide range of autumn flowering bulbs and other wildflowers
